Its semi - final stage this week at Kilkenny Track. On Wednesday we have the 2 semi finals of the Aries Son @ Stud A4 525. Fastest 1st rd winner At The Limit will be expected to go close again but certainly wont have it his own way with Tynwald Quid in Trap 1 and Lemon Lola in trap 2. The other heat looks wide open with claims made for Paul Hennessy's Master Magoo and Paddy Butlers in form Scholes Boy.
On Friday we have the 2 semi finals of the Langton House Derby. This competition is particularly wide open and the first few strides will decide a lot in both semi finals with plenty of early pace about. Jack De Man and Sawdust Terry will be expected to qualify from the 1st Semi Final, Cool Rocket and Ballygur Ted will likely battle it out for the other qualifying spot.
The other semi final sees the talented Mickys Trickster drawn in trap 6, however with his usual fast break he can lead up and get to the rails. Mt Leinster Hill, Burnt Oak Bobby and Kilcloney Queen will all be looking to make it to the final. It promises to be 2 great semi finals. There are also 2 semi finals of a A3 novice 725 and the final of the novice 725, the final of the aries son @ Stud A4 and the final of the Langton Derby will all be on Friday September 9th, so plenty to look forward to at Kilkenny Track
