The Red Mills Cup, was the feature of the night, this one off race with €2500 to the winner, was a super contest on paper and it turned out to be just that. The betting as fierce, and there was continuous support for Pat Buckleys Scottish Derby finalist Beaming Dilema, who was evens favourite when the lids opened. Many fancied Pat Comeford’s Master Blaster also, and at 3/1 he had plenty of support. But, as soon as the lids opened it was Kilkenny specialist Mickeys Trickster who blasted from the boxes, and lead trap to line in a super 28.97. A great winner for the O'Sullivan - Fortune team.

Other notable winners on the night were the Willie Hanlon owned and trained Ballygur Ted, who collected the Black and Amber racing A3 with another early pace display in a good 29.35.
Chasing Willyjoe confirmed his position among the top sprinter in the country with a super 16.23 in the open 300.

Pat Guilfoyle, brought this ealry paced speedster Joey Jojo Junior to contest the open 525, and he won that race in some style. Yet again early pace was the key.
The upcoming Corn Cú Chulainn at Harold’s Cross is where all the stayers are headed, and Welesbourne Dan in the Open 725 and Fleeting image in the Stone Developments Tri-Distance final (750), confirmed their credentials with stylish wins.
Other winners on the night were Keelan O'Donoghue and Ann Hoban's Knockdrina Deco in the BEAM A5 final, and Declan Meaneys Lafontom in the McDonnell Clan A7.
